WeSolve, Better Together

WeSolve unites diverse stakeholders committed to driving positive change and addressing challenges collectively. Our solution facilitates feedback collection and the creation of engagement activities, including the gathering of insights, ideas, surveys, polls, and news. This empowers co-creation and innovation through active collaboration and democratic participation.

The WeSolve platform has been ranked in the top 15 world most innovative citizen engagement platforms from World Summit Global Awards 2021 (WSA 2021).

WeSolve has also been selected unanimously from the AI4GOV consortium as the best European solution for connecting citizens to the public services through AI (Artificial Intelligence) - 2023.

The AI4GOV European Consortium is composed by Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi), and Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech).

The WeSolve platform is designed to bridge the gap between nationalities, cultures and bring together different stakeholders. Our app will also help to include minority groups in society, as WeSolve is an efficient tool for promoting inclusion and informing people in society.

The app has several engagement features: including surveys, collection of ideas, insights and experiences, news and an in-app reward system.

Additionally, there is an automatic translation system that allows people to communicate across nationalities and languages (auto translations from more than 100 languages).

A reward system is also designed to include sustainability and wellbeing since users can gain points for participation which can be exchanged to plant trees through a reforestation program.

Artificial Intelligence supports the generation of the engagement activities (Projects, Challenges, Surveys, News and Workshops) motivating users to be actively engaged in the proposed activities.

The problem

Research

Traditional public participation tools such as public meetings and websites are time-consuming and require high costs of management. Moreover, these tools are very inefficient in reaching all segments of the population, especially young people, individuals with disabilities and foreigners and do not allow constructive two-way communication between organisations and their community. An investigation regarding civic engagement in the decision-making processes across Europe has shown that about 90% of the citizens would like to be consulted and informed by their local authorities (Standard Eurobarometer 79.2 (2013) and re-calculated by Wimmer (2018)). Alignment with mission

Current resources/technology

WeSolve makes public engagement easier by offering effective communication within local communities and across multi stakeholders. WeSolve combines cutting-edge digital technologies for creating an all-in-one digital engagement platform that can reach all segments of stakeholders at a very competitive price. The digital management panel gives admins the possibility to create discussions and collect innovative ideas that can then be discussed and implemented. The admins can also consult all stakeholders through surveys, ensuring that they participate in the activities of the project. The automatic translation of the content of the app helps to reduce the language barrier and include everyone in the discussions.
